An empty lot beside of the Cracker Barrel restaurant in AV短视频 could have a restaurant on it in the future.
Wendy Smith, director of development and design for the city of Morganton, said 125 Bush Drive has a permit for a restaurant.
According to the city鈥檚 July permit report, a building permit for new construction has been issued to Ray Lackey Enterprises Inc., which owns Village Inn Pizza. Ray Lackey started Village Inn Pizza in the 1960s.
The Bush Drive property is 1.3 acres with a value of $366,570, according to county land records. It sits between Cracker Barrel and a Hampton Inn.
County deeds show that Ray Lackey Enterprises purchased the property in August 2023 from IDE Properties LLC for around $395,000.
